Hi there.
Renee Wilkinson is a sixth generation Oregonian with a long-held reverence for Pacific Northwest landscapes. She is a registered landscape architect and works for MIG designing a range of public and private spaces around the Pacific Northwest. Her experience includes innovative planting design, permaculture spaces, nature-inspired playgrounds, multi-family housing (senior living, memory care, affordable housing, etc), public parks and multi-use trails.
Renee has a similar approach to all of her projects: create outdoor environments that connect people with nature. That can mean growing food, supporting native wildlife, or simply having a safe space to seek refuge and recharge. Her design work emphasizes ecologically-sensitive design elements, such as native gardens, low-water plants and local building materials.
Renee is the published author of the book Modern Homestead with additional writing credits in national magazines and websites. In 2007, she launched the website HipChickDigs that focuses on landscape design and sustainable living. Book readings, workshops and lectures have taken her across the country.

I am somewhat active on Instagram, so below is a snapshot of some of my latest work related activities.
